OSRS Wyrms Guide

Wyrms can be found lurking around in the Karuulm Slayer Dungeon. The quickest way to get there is by using the Fairy Ring Network (Code: CIR). Alternatively, you can use the Skills Necklace to get to the Farming Guild, and from there, you can head southwest to reach the entrance of the dungeon.

If You Need More OSRS GP Or Want To Buy OSRS Accounts, Items, Quest Service And Power Leveling Service, Rsorder Will Be The Best Choice!

Stats

Wyrms are level 99 monsters with a max hit of 13. They offer 133 XP per kill, and they’re weak to stab and ranged attack styles. You need at least 62 Slayer to approach them.

Caution

Make sure you equip Granite, Brimstone, or Stone shoes, or else, you’ll be taking significant damage within the Karuulm Slayer Dungeon. If you’ve already completed the Elite part of Kourend & Kebos diaries, then you can skip wearing them and go with anything you want.

Additional info

Wyrms are weak to both melee as well as ranged so make sure you have the appropriate setup. If your Ranged stats are better, then go for gear with high magic defense. Keep protect from magic active at all times if you can to take on zero hits from these beats. Alternatively, go with any equipment that has a high magic defense to survive longer.

Gear

You’ll need to prioritize a high defense gear if you’re not going with the ‘protect from magic’ prayer. That’s exactly why you need to equip at least one piece of Black Dragonhide even when you’re in a melee setup.

If your range is high enough, you can go with the best DPS for wyrms which is the Toxic Blowpipe. You can always consider a Rapier or Lance while using melee. Either way, we’ve listed down the entire setup for both.

Ranged

For Ranged, you need a Slayer Helmet or Black Mask (I), Ava’s Assembler or Accumulator, Necklace of Anguish, Fury or Glory, Rada’s Blessing, Unholy Blessing, or Bolts, Toxic Blowpipe, DHCB, or Rune Crossbow, Brimstone, Granite, or Stone Boots, Barrows’ Gloves, Blessed Vambraces, Ranged Gloves, or Black Dragonhide Vambraces, and Archers’ Ring (I), Brimstone Ring, or Seers’ Ring.

Melee

For Melee, You’ll need a Slayer Helm or Black Mask (I), Fire Cape, Legends’ Cape, or Obsidian Cape, Amulet of Torture, Fury, or Glory, Rada’s Blessing or anything similar, Rapier, Dragon Lace, Whip, or Dragon Scimitar, Avernic Defender, Dragon Defender, or Tokz-Ket-Xil, Armadyl Chest, Karils’ Top, Blessed Dragonhide Body, or Black Dragonhide Body, Armadyl Skirt, Karils’ Bottom, Blessed Dragonhide Chaps, or Black Dragonhide Chaps, Brimstone Boots, Stone Boots, or Granite Boots, and Berserker (I), Treasonous, Brimstone, or Seers’ Ring.

Inventory

For the inventory, you’ll need 2x Bastion or Ranging Potions, 4x Prayer Potions, Sharks or Manta Rays, Teleportation, Bonecrusher, Holy Wrench, Dwarf Multi-Cannon, Herb sack, and Dramen or Lunar Staff.

Drops
